Jim Buffington is a CPA and Customer Liaison with Intuit ProConnect. He practiced public accounting as a partner in an East Texas firm for a dozen years before joining Intuit 15 years ago. At Intuit, Jim co-leads the team to secure the e-file system for Intuit’s tax professionals. He also contributes to the IRS Security Summit to better safeguard taxpayer data across our industry. He speaks often to tax professionals on the topic of security. He regularly consults with tax & accounting firms to improve their workflow, technology and processes to make a difference for their clients. Jim lives in Plano, Texas, enjoys cycling, Texas A&M football and spending time with his wife & three grown children.
